Get in the mag
Get your Mini featured
We always love hearing from our readers and finding out more about their Minis. We understand that they are your pride and joy and that getting them featured in the magazine is a perfect opportunity to show them off and a credit to how much hard work and effort has gone into building them. So if you'd like your Mini to be featured in MiniWorld, either in the magazine or on the website, please get in touch. We want to hear from you!
Firstly, if you want your Mini to be featured in the magazine's 'I Love Mini' pages or on the website please send us some info on the car, your name and some pics. Also, if we could get a few pics of you with your Mini that would be great!
You can either email the info and pics this to us at miniworld@ipcmedia.com or you can send it in to the following address:
I Love Mini, MiniWorld, IPC Media, Leon House, 233 High Street, Croydon, CR9 1HZ, UK
Or, if you think your little beauty is worthy of a full in-depth feature again we want to hear from you. The first thing you should do is to send us four photos of the following:
a) Front three-quarter
b) Engine Bay
c) Interior
d) Rear three-quarter
You can either email them to miniworld@ipcmedia.com or send them to the address below:
MiniWorld Features, MiniWorld, IPC Media, Leon house, 233 High Street, Croydon, CR9 1HZ, UK
Please include a thorough tech spec of your Mini and describe any other features that you think are important to mention. This is your chance to tell us what's different about your car and why it deserves to be featured in MiniWorld. Please bear in mind that grubby engine bays and rust on your car will not help it get chosen!
It's important to note that if you're sending digital pictures as e-mail attachments please make sure they are hi-res, or taken at the largest setting on your camera, and in JPEG format.
Unfortunately we're not able to be return any photos we receive in the post due to the large amount we receive. And to make sure your Mini looks the very best that it can try to take the pics in daylight - not with the flash. Also, please don't send us negatives or slides as we cannot gaurantee their safety.
Due to the vast amount of people wishing to get their Minis featured in the mag a response can take up to two months. Having a full feature done for MiniWorld involves a photographer and a journalist meeting you at a place of your choice. All the arrangements are organised with the owner of the car. Meetings can be arranged on weekdays or weekends, but Monday-Friday is more convenient for us. If your car is accepted, you will need to complete an extensive questionnaire about your car. We will use this as a basis for the final feature.
