MiniWorld's Tribute to John Cooper
John Cooper, creator of the Mini Cooper, sadly died on 24 December 2000. The first Editor Nigel Fryatt interviewed him in the very first issue of MiniWorld about being the first person to recognise the tuning potential of the humble Mini. He then became a monthly columnist for the magazine, up until his death, with his first ever "Cooper Column' being printed in the Winter 1991 issue. Tributes have come from all around the world, showing just how widespread John Cooper's influence was, and still is.
