50th Anniversary Exhibition at Gaydon

Gaydon

Monday 11th August 2008

The Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon has announced a special Mini exhibition for 2009 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mini. The exhibition will feature some iconic Minis including the infamous Morris Mini '621 AOK', the first Mini produced in 1959.

The Heritage Motor Centre has declared that 2009 will be 'the year of the Mini' so there should be plenty to keep Mini fans occupied next year. The exhibition itself will detail the design, production and development of the Mini over its many decades of production.

Also, check out our Mini history page (available via the homepage) for a detailed timeline of Mini production.
