Win in our exclusive Corgi competition!

Corgi competition

Monday 28th April 2008

If you love your Mini why not get it immortalised forever as a Corgi model in our exclusive competition. All you need to do is send a few photos of your Mini, a bit about its history and why you think it deserves to be a made into a model for your chance to win.

For this amazing competition prize, Corgi is looking for extra special Minis that can be reproduced as production models to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mini in 2009.

If your Mini is picked it will be made into a 1:36-scale model or a 1:43-scale Mk1 or Van model of its likeness. It will then be released in one of Corgi's 2009 catalogues and you will receive your very own model one month before the release date in a special presentation box with a letter of authenticity from Corgi.

How to enter
All you have to do is take photos of your Mini like the ones shown here including front, side and rear shots. You will also need to send in some information about you Mini's history. For example: was it owned by someone famous, did it take part in a record-breaking event or does it take you to college every day and never break down? Then write a short sentence on why your Mini would make a great model. Corgi has several castings for your Mini to be based on, which can be seen here.

Send your entries along with your name, address, daytime telephone number and email address to: MiniWorld's Model my Mini competition, Leon House, 233 High Street, Croydon, Surrey, CR9 1HZ. Alternatively, you can email them to miniworld_comp@ipcmedia.com by 21 May 2008. For more information see the June issue of MiniWorld which is out now.
